Fourth Midwifery is for pregnant and postnatal people seeking calm, evidence-based education and support alongside their existing healthcare. Our services are designed to complement the care you receive from your hospital, GP or obstetric provider - offering extra time, continuity and personalised support during pregnancy and the fourth trimester.
Fourth proudly provides LGBTQIA+ inclusive care and welcomes all families.
This service is especially suited to first-time parents, those who may not have a strong support network or “village” around them, and families who feel unsure or overwhelmed navigating healthcare options. It’s also ideal for anyone who experienced a difficult or traumatic previous birth and would like additional support this time around.
Fourth is for those who value clear, balanced information without fear-based messaging, and who want to feel genuinely heard, seen and supported as they navigate pregnancy and the early postnatal period.

Every family’s needs are different, and there’s no “one size fits all” approach to postnatal care.
If you’re looking for gentle preparation and light-touch support, Seed is ideal - offering antenatal education and a postnatal phone consult for early reassurance.
If you’d like in-home support after birth, Nurture provides foundational care with one postnatal visit to support feeding, settling, newborn growth, and your recovery.
Flourish is perfect for families wanting extra continuity, with two postnatal visits allowing more time for ongoing guidance and adjustment.
For those seeking deeper, ongoing support through the early postpartum period, Thrive offers true continuity with three postnatal home visits, providing space for follow-up, emotional support, and a gentler transition into life with your baby.
If you’re unsure which option feels right, you’re always welcome to reach out - I’m happy to help you choose a package that best supports you and your growing family.
